Oh, man, isn’t it the truth! I feel very lucky that I’ve never had any serious damage from the outdoor shows. At Scottsdale, I did see one artist struggling to keep her booth from skidding around in the wind (she didn’t have any weights to hold it down), but amazingly there wasn’t much damage. I can’t describe how nervous I felt leaving my tent Friday afternoon as the storm picked up strength, or how relieved I felt Saturday morning when I arrived and my tent was still in one piece. We do roll the dice for these shows.

I feel for you…my wife and I did a show last week in Birmingham MI. Cold and windy on Sat. With sleet and very windy on Sun. Some tents down and others gave up. Thats art shows

Barbara- it was great to meet you at the Scottsdale show. I’m sorry you had such terrible weather! I loved seeing your art & talking “big-dot pointillism.”
Your work is gorgeous, and I’ve already told a few people about you. I hope your next Scottsdale show provides fair weather & deep pockets!

It’ll be great to see you Quinn! And actually, we did meet once before, but it was a very long time ago. You were doing a show, maybe Paradise City? Anyway, I’m very excited to finally show in Arizona. See you there!
